Lionheart is a maincrop variety.  This variety is particularily suitable for french fries.  Susceptible to Dry rot Fusarium sulphureum , late blight on tubers and foliage. Resistance to Dry rot Fusarium coeruleum Tests for resistance to potato cyst nematode demonstrated susceptibility to both Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and Globodera pallida Pa 2/3, 1.
