Tubers have good resistance to bruising and splitting. Trials have found good resistance to silver scurf, blackleg, potato virus Yo and black dot.. This variety has low resistance to dry rot. Tests for resistance to potato cyst eelworm demonstrated resistance to Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and susceptibility to Globodera pallida Pa 2/3, 1.
