Tubers have good resistance to bruising and splitting. Trials have found good resistance to black dot, black scurf, powdery scab, blackleg, common scab and dry rot (Fusarium coeruleum). This variety has low resistance to dry rot (Fusarium suplhureum) and late blight on tubers. Tests for resistance to potato cyst nematode demonstrated susceptibility to both Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and Globodera pallida Pa 2/3, 1.
