Tubers have good resistance to bruising and splitting.  Trials have found good resistance to black scurf, powdery scab, blackleg and dry rot (Fusarium coeruleum).  This variety has low resistance to dry rot (Fusarium sulphureum) and skin spot.  Tests for resistance to potato cyst nematode demonstrated resistance to Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and susceptibility to Globodera pallida Pa 2/3, 1.
