Tubers have good resistance to splitting and some resistance to bruising. Trials have found good resistance to potato leafroll virus and blackleg.. This variety has low resistance to dry rot Fusarium coeruleum and Fusarium Sulphureum , skin spot. Tests for resistance to potato cyst nematode demonstrated resistance to Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and susceptibility to Globodera pallida Pa 2/3, 1.
